A simple but tasty (and healthy) smoothie recipe!

Hello everyone!

I decided to try out a recipe for a smoothie that I came up with, but I am pretty sure others have made similar.

I call it a Berry Muffin Smoothie.

Not the exact smoothie but the end result looks almost identical.

Ingredients (serves one person)

1 cup of almond milk (I use unsweetened plain)
1/2 cup of mixed frozen berries (I have a mix of strawberry/blueberry/raspberry)
2 tablespoons of ground flax
Stevia to taste (optional)

Pour all ingredients in blender and blend on liquefy until liquid or desired consistency.  Serve immediately, this will thicken on its own relatively fast.

I had it for breakfast this morning and it was yummy and more satisfying than the smoothies that I have been making (flaxless).

Do you have a good smoothie recipe? Post below!

  1. Thanks for the great smoothie recipe. I'm going to review and see if they will work with the super food powder I take every day called NatraBurst. I talk about this on my own blog here, http://24monthmiracle.com.

I do have a smoothie recipe here it is:

Super Smoothie (for lack of imagination in naming)

1/3 cup ripe (not over ripe) mango (fresh if you have it)
1/3 cup pineapple chunks (fresh if you have it)
4 or 5 ice cubes (if you are using frozen fruit you can omit this
About 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1/3 to 1/2 cup orange juice
1/3 to 1/2 cup soy milk (or milk)
    1 scoop Natraburst

    Mix all in your bullet
Enjoy another SuperFood Green Magic Delight ~~~ Yum!

You can see the pic of it on my blog.
