Tracy Anderson Pregnancy Project Month 9

Hello everyone!

I gave the Pregnancy Project a try yesterday, and posted a (longer!) video! (Note the chair and the mat behind me)

I'm slowly getting more comfortable with being on camera, so bear with me!

I forgot to add another piece of info- I will also be doing the Walk Away The Pounds Fat Burning 5 Mile Walk every day as my cardio (at my weight that is an approximate 1000 calorie burn- calculated for walking a 5.0 mph  mile in one hour), with dusting off my XBox and playing some Dance Central 2 in my free time, just get moving around when I don't have much else to do.

I decided that since the pregnancy workout was surprisingly tough, work on it until I master it then move down a month. Tomorrow I will try using the 3 pound weights, when I did it the first time, I did not use weights because of a sore shoulder.

I don't want to zoom through it too fast and not lose my belly in time to do the harder movements.  I also am using these videos as a way to build strength for Metamorphosis which is a bit harder. Sure, every 10 days keeps the body challenged, but if I am still struggling with it after 10 days, then it is still challenging.

  1. Hi Roxy--good luck to you! I think you are on the right track. I just restarted meta after having the DVDs for way too long and not using them! I just wanted to post a comment to caution you on your calories burned estimate for WATP, especially if you are using it to calculate your diet. Personally, I love using a HR monitor to calculate calories burned during exercise and FitBit to monitor my activity for all day. I can plug the HR monitor info into the FitBit website for that timeframe as well...and then I use that info to track my diet in the FitBit site also. But, when I am trying to lose weight, I love concrete #s and gadgets but that might not be for you!

    All the best to you,
    Kathleen

  2. Hi! Came over here from Tracy's site and thought I'd check in to see how you were doing. Hang in there! I know how tough it is, especially when you're faced with a lot of pessimistic people who want to give you a hard time.

Just wanted to let you know I'm right there with you on the challenge of it all and am cheering you on.

  3. Hey Roxy, I'm getting back on the Meta train again too after just ordering Continuity (Glute) last night. Never been pregnant so thanks for reviewing this. I do have Mat though and like it. Used to follow you a year ago! I'm getting brave to do my own blog soon too, but not sure about vids! Take care.
