Hello everyone!
Sadly, After today,I have decided to put my TAMing on a temporary hiatus until I lose some more weight. I honestly think that right now, I am too big to continue.
I did do my 4th day workout, in a lot of pain at that. Yesterday I messed up my rotator cuff and it's still very tender.
Yes, there WAS a guy who was 400 pounds doing TAM, but the fact of the matter is that everyone is DIFFERENT. Also yes, he lost 100 pounds in 6 months, but who knows what they had him doing.
For me, I think a better approach to this is going to be whipping out the Walk Away the Pounds Fat Burning 5 mile Walk. It's a little more than an hour long, split up into 5 miles and I will try my best to get into it. I heard most people think that it will be easy to go for an hour, then find out that they have to stick with 1-2 miles at first.
I also hear a lot of good stuff about Leslie's workouts, especially from heavy people.
So, I will call this more of Pre-conditioning for TAM. My goal is to lose about 80 pounds before going back to TAM.
Also before, I mentioned wanting to do Bikram yoga, I still do, but for now I will have to do it in a colder room because I work out in a basement. When I plug in space heaters in here they always blow a fuse within 5-10 minutes. Not Ideal. So, I want to at least try to go through the moves (with warm clothing on if needed).
So that's about it. The videos WILL keep coming though!

Tracy Anderson Method Day 3/30
Hello everyone!
I finished my third day, and here is the video-
It did not go that great yesterday.
I ended up getting really busy and had to snip out parts of my workout. All I was able to get done was legs/butt. Not pleased.
Eating was gluten free but definitely not "healthy". I ended up having a good day until dinnertime, when I ended up going out and had a medium french fry from McDonalds. Gluten-free yes, healthy, no.
Also while working out, I think I messed up my right shoulder and it's having me reconsidering a lot.
I MAY stop doing Tracy Anderson for now until I get some initial weight off because most times that I have started TAM, I end up hurting something or being unable to do things to the best of my ability because of my size.
I am thinking of waiting until I weigh about 200 pounds (90 kg) to begin TAM again, right now I weigh about 285 pounds (130 kg). I have a plan in mind that's for my next post!
Even if I do not do Tracy Anderson right now, I still am going to keep moving and trying to eat well. That's important. I still do have the goal in mind to lose 100 pounds/45 kg this year.

Tracy Anderson 30 Day Method Day 2
Hello everyone!
I finished day 2, as you can see!
As the video says, yes, I did feel sore today. Before even getting to my workout today, I felt it all in my underarms, chest, butt, and thighs, and slightly in my abs. I started out with 20 reps and today I did 25. Tomorrow I attempt 30. (Yikes) Today I also did 10 minutes of step touching cardio, and took a 45 minute walk to the store and back. Needed my Kefir.
Diet: Here's how it went. It feels like a lot of food, but it's pretty much "clean" food.
Breakfast:
1 cup of plain Kefir blended with 1/2 cup of berries
Lunch:
6 slices of turkey bacon (love it extra crisp) and a baked sweet potato, no salt/butter/etc. They're actually quite good as they are.
Snack:
2 servings of Choco Chestnut Pudding (a recipe from the book- it's VERY good and I couldn't resist a second go. I have more in the fridge and will be more conservative next time.)
Dinner:
Steamed broccoli and Turkey burgers from the book. Meh. I'm not a huge fan of turkey in general, but these were edible. After these are gone, it's chickpea burgers from here on out. Going to the store tomorrow to get more chickpeas ( I have one big can but im trying to really make them in bulk so I can just grab and fry them up at any given time).
I am giving up most dairy when possible aside from the kefir, which is a big deal for me because I am usually a heavy dairy consumer. I am mostly drinking the kefir smoothies because a) I like it b) the probiotics seem to help my tummy and c) I have 2 huge bags of frozen berries and they need to be used. No wasting!
That's it for today, but I will see everyone for day 3~!
Have a good night!

Tracy Anderson 30 Day Method Day 1
Hello everyone!
Day 1 is finished and a video is up on my YouTube channel!
Details not covered in the video- (It was taken late and I didn't want to wake anyone!)
Workout:
20 reps per exercise, as prescribed.
10 minutes of step touching cardio, as prescribed.
Diet: (NOT perfect but better than I HAVE been)
Skipped breakfast, slept in a bit.
Brunch was Korean rice cake soup (a tradition on New Year's Day) which consists of sliced rice cakes (made of just rice/salt/water) and a beef broth. No gluten!
I went out to go shopping and stopped at Starbucks.
Instead of getting a big ol' sugary Frappucino, I got a venti skim latte with an extra shot and no foam. (Yes, I DID get that from The Devil Wears Prada) No sweeteners either.
Dinner was a big bowl of steamed broccoli and a drained can of chicken breast.
I do need to go run to the store in the morning for some kefir, dates, and chocolate chips. (For smoothies and choco chestnut pudding as a snack)
I'm off to bed, see everyone tomorrow!

Happy New Year!
Hello everyone!!!
I would like to take a moment to wish all of my readers, friends, and family a happy new year!
As promised, I am going to do my first workout. My diet was a little sidetracked but nothing horrible. I'll talk about it more in my blog/vlog, but after my stomach settles (I didn't overeat, no worries), I will get to the mat!
Have a happy and safe new year! Let's make 2013 our year!

First Video Blog Up!
Hello everyone!
A quickie announcement that my first video blog is now UP!
It's very short but it's also a quick intro and a test in a way. Will make another tomorrow, and each day of my bootcamp at least.
*drumroll* Here it is! Yes. I am in my pajamas. I had a sudden urge to record and it felt like the right time at the time.

T Minus 2 Days
Hello everyone!
As the title suggests, I begin the day after tomorrow. In that time (and the past few days) I have been honestly eating anything I want until then, to get the junk food eating out of my system.
I also made myself a fun calendar for bootcamp and afterwards. Some of you may have noticed that I am a big fan of My Little Pony, so I made a calendar and put pictures on it. I also entered in for each day what workout I would be doing. For example: Sequence 1, 10 mins ST (step touch for cardio) and go from there, following the absolute beginner plan from the book.
Due to all the garbage I've been eating, I feel pretty cruddy today to be honest. Really tired, sore, extra bloated. Tomorrow I might do a little Metamucil cleanse (fiber powder) to help push out the crap (pun intended).
As for my New Year's Eve plans, I will probably be going to bed early and sleeping. I don't want to be tired when I start bootcamp.

Artist's rendition of my pre-bootcamp junk spree!
